Roomba 500 series charging errors
My Roomba's troubleshooting light blinks
If the Troubleshooting Light is blinking while Roomba is charging, Roomba has experienced a charging error. If an error code is emitted while running or standing, consult Roomba 500 Series Troubleshooting.

Roomba's battery is not connected. | Confirm that Roomba's battery pull-tab is removed. Click here to troubleshoot the pull-tab. |
| 2 blinks (...Charging Error two) |
Roomba has a charging error. | Allow Roomba to cool down for at least one hour. Charge Roomba again in a cooler environment. |
| 3 blinks (...Charging Error three) |
Roomba has a charging error. | Reset Roomba's software by simultaneously holding down the two buttons above and below CLEAN for 10 seconds. This will clear all scheduled cleaning times, reset the clock and may resolve some software issues. Try charging Roomba again. |

Roomba's battery overheated. | Allow Roomba to cool down for at least one hour. Charge Roomba again in a cooler environment. |

Charging Tips:
- Periodically check that the green light on the charger (Power Supply) is lit when plugged in. If out or blinking, click here to contact iRobot Customer Support.
- When using a Home Base, keep the charging contacts on the Home Base and Roomba clean.
