I gave a Roomba Discovery to my Grandma because she has a spinal problem and can no longer do housework. She only gets a cleaner once per fortnight, however she is a ‘neat freak’! She finds it really easy to use and it does a great job. So a huge Thank you from me and her, it‘s awesome! Cheers.

I have been watching and waiting and finally I have a Roomba Discovery. As I am in a wheelchair this is a godsend and enables me to have a little more independence and privacy. Thank-you.
Excellent Job

Excellent, Colin and team. I thought the sitting room was clean until Discovery spent about 40 minutes. Also, much quieter than original Roomba. Love the docking station! Our other 2 Roombas are so jealous they are now upstairs and in the Master. The aim of the household is to have one Roomba per 1000sq ft area (need about three more) - how's about a quantity discount, here?
I'm WOWED!

Discovery is one kewl dood! I have an original Roomba that I am very happy with-it cleans well without me at one end of it. Discovery is beyond my wildest dreams. Ok, a little exaggeration here but not much. The fact that it docks itself for recharging is amazing! Like the original Roomba, it's great at picking up pet hair and lots of little stuff you wouldn't see, as well as some good-size objects. We have a puppy and he loves to shred paper, cardboard, tissues, etc. Discovery gets all but the biggest pieces. The hardest part of this wonder-machine is remembering to empty the dust bin (but easy to do). The remote makes it even easier to use. I love the fact that as I'm typing this, my floor is being vacuumed. This is a company that cares as much about it's customers as it does about it's product. Customer support is excellent and it's easy to contact a "live person". There is an active "user's group" that is more than willing to help you with more than you need to know. Roomba owners are a friendly bunch! IRobot seems to be always striving to improve. This is the early age of robotics for the home-and you don't want to miss it! It will be a lot easier to keep up with advancements if you start now with this technology.
Early Adopter

When the original Roomba was released, I bought it immediately (I was looking at robotic vacuum technology for years before the Roomba; I'm glad that iRobot got there first, they did it right). You might call me an "early adopter" ;-). My original Roomba is still alive and well cleaning my apartment. Today, I set the "twins" to work; I think they consipire with one another ;-). What an improvement the Discovery is over the original! You can feel the air coming out the back of the unit (the vacuum is much more effective). The bin is HUGE in comparison to the original and I LOVE the max clean feature! What's next iRobot? A smarter robot that can get around rug fringe and weird cracks (my Roomba loves to go after the wedge between my fridge and the cabinet) :-). It is only a matter of time before Roombas will be programmed to run at specific times and will clean themselves. May you live in interesting times; buy a Roomba Discovery!
I love it!

I just purchased a Roomba Discovery last night from the Sharper Image. We'd been looking at them a while, and finally took the plunge. I am limited in the physical housework I can do, and so vacuuming with a normal upright is a huge workout for me and I hate doing it. My fiance, bless his heart, just hates doing housework at all. With two cats, our carpets are constantly needing a vacuuming, and seldom get it. After charging our Roomba last night, I set it loose in our living room, and it went to town. Once it had given the room a once-over, I emptied the bins and cleaned the brushes (and boy did they need it, it had been a while), then sent it back to its charger for the night. Ran it again this morning and I think I got at least as much hair and dirt this time, and the carpet was looking pretty good. The thing that really won me over though, was when I took it to the room where we keep the litter box. We don't have much choice, the box has to sit on carpet, so you can imagine the amount of litter that the Roomba picked up. The spot cleaning feature is great, it used it quite a bit at first, and even though I had shaken out the rugs there on the carpet, I think it picked up pretty much all the litter that had fallen down into the fibers. Go, Roomba! Thanks for this fantastic product! As a person with limited physical abilities, it's a wonderful thing. I think my favorite feature is being able to drive it with the remote. That really saves me having to pick it up and carry it to another room (though it is surprisingly light). Sincerely, Dee
What a time saver

I love my Roomba so much that I bought the new Roomba Discovery for me and we also bought a Roomba Elite for my mother. Besides the superb job of vacuuming it does, it is a real life saver for anyone who has a physical problem with vacuuming. My floors have never looked so good and your customer support staff is so very, very good.
A word of thanks

I received a Roomba for Christmas this past year and just set the thing up. I had little faith in your machine to clean my floors but after using it once I was sold. It did a great job picking up all the dust and dirt around the house and under the furniture, better than I could do myself. It entertains my infant son as it randomly runs through the house and when it runs into a tennis ball my dog fetches it and brings it back to the Roomba. Everybody is happy.
